IRIT and ORME partners of ISP System in the PHOTOMATIQ™ project

IRIT and ORME join ISP System in the PHOTOMATIQ™ project consortium.

It is at the IRIT’s headquarters in Toulouse that the PHOTOMATIQ ™ project partners formalized their collaboration by signing the project Consortium agreement, Tuesday, November 24, 2020.

Representatives of the Occitanie region, DIRECCTE, the OPTITEC competitiveness cluster and the ADOCC agency were present.

The PHOTOMATIQ ™ project aims to develop a generic machine dedicated to the assembly of photonic products.

A flexible and modular production machine, compatible with a wide variety of applications and guaranteeing faster, more precise assemblies better suited to the constraints of photonic packaging.

PhotonSmart ™ software, incorporating intuitive programming and active alignment functions, will notably make it very easy to create and fine-tune new production recipes.

This project is therefore made possible by the combination of specialized and multidisciplinary skills:

ISP System: Design and production of automated micro-assembly machines and high precision mechatronic equipment.

Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (irit.fr) : Artificial Intelligence, design of autonomous systems that are self-adapting to their environment.

ORME (orme.com) : Machine learning, design of machine vision algorithms and image processing.
